Tagged

I've never been tagged (which I think I'm grateful for), but I found this tag on my cousin (Mika's) blog. This one is fun for ALL! I hope you'll participate. I was so thrilled about the vast number of people who read my blog (if only to vote) and voted on my poll! I thought maybe 5 people (TOPS) read this thing. :o)  So, Tag! You're it!!

  1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
  2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.
*If you don't have a blog, leave one memory as a comment on my blog, and I'll in turn leave a memory of you as a comment on my blog. I expect to see 19 memories! ;)

One of my favorite early memories of you is one your first dates with Josh to his Elder's Party Shrimp Boil. You were so much fun and worked so hard helping Dad, Josh, and Chris cook. I said to my friend, Jennefer, "Katie was born to be in our family!"
You impressed me right from the first with your work ethic, your kindness, and smarts. Mom H. :)

At a Lewis reunion a few years back - we must have been around 13 or 14 - we were all camping, and for whatever reason (oh yes, we were bratty teenagers) decided that we should dump red Koolaid around the port-a-potty to make it look like an older relative (possibly Kristen...no guarantees...) was having a rough spot in her month. What provoked us to do that?? My goodness, I'm glad to not be a teenager anymore!

Also, I'm glad that I know how to say llama now...since I am going to Llama Fest tomorrow. Woohoo!

When you called me up to see where I got my 67.6 oz. container of hand sanitizer. I thought I was the only germ freak around here. :)

Okay, I am late doing this, but better late than never...right?! I remember one time when I was pregnant with Kearney and Ireland you came over to the house (you wanted to clean, but it had been done already...such a nice thought!) and you took Parker and Kylee out to McDonalds and spent some time with them so that I could rest. It was such a nice thing to do and the kids had such a good time....I also remember how much you and Josh would come over and babysit for us (before and after your wedding!). Thanks! :)

Well Katie I will never forget this...A few months ago my crazy husband decided to play a trick on his Brother and called to see if Abby and Jaxon could spend the night. It was already 10 PM. You know how silly those two can be sometimes. Josh thought it might me a prank, but I found out a few days later when Chris came home laughing, that you had stayed up for two hours cleaning your house anticipating the arrival. Well I did not find it funny and I told Chris that might not be the best joke to play the next time. :)

Thanks Karen. I had pretty much forgotten about that! ha ha.

I remember going to Gardner Village all dressed up like a witch and you had the coolest orange scarf. I also thought it was really niec of you to let someone else drive your pretty new car!
